Shultz Huber & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that Alex Schomaeker, Alyssa Renfer, Samson Chiwaramakanda and Hunter Yackee were recently promoted. Schomaeker was promoted to manager and Renfer has been promoted to supervisor. Chiwaramakanda and Yackee were promoted to in-charge accountants.
Schomaeker, a certified public accountant, has been with the firm since 2014. He works in the Defiance office and holds a master’s degree from Bowling Green State University and a bachelor’s degree from Defiance College.
Renfer has been with the firm since 2021 and works in the Defiance office. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Spring Arbor University and serves as the treasurer for Grace Cares, a local non-profit organization. Renfer recently earned licensure as a certified public accountant in Ohio.
Chiwaramakanda joined the firm in 2023 and works in the St. Marys office. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Northwestern Ohio.
Yackee has been with SH&A since 2024. He works in the Defiance office and holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Lourdes University.
Managers direct client assignments while coaching and advising other team members. They oversee supervisors, in-charge accountants, staff accountants and accounting assistants. Supervisors work directly with clients while taking a leadership role in coordinating and managing projects. They also oversee in-charge accountants, staff accountants and accounting assistants. In-charge accountants work directly with clients and oversee staff accountants and accounting assistants.
